Identity & Access Management (IAM) Portal Info
Our digital identity facilitates access to UVA resources. That identity is created through a set of business processes, policies, data governance, and supporting technologies known as an "identity and access management framework."
The Identity & Access Management Portal allows you to manage many aspects of your UVA Identity.

The IAM Advisory Committee advises the Deputy CIO (designated as the IAM Data Steward) on IAM data governance issues: identity life cycle management, role/attribute-based provisioning, IAM integrations, & other identity-related data issues.
IAM Portal Service Status
To view planned downtimes and/or check the status of the IAM Portal, see Service Status. When the IAM Portal is down, typically for server maintenance, you will not be able to manage or claim your Identity account. This includes doing things like password reset, preferred name management, sponsored account management, and password recovery.
